Day One: Back to Reykjavik

The internship hasn't fully started yet, but, the new beginning has. Hopefully, the rest of these entries about my time here will be a lot more fun and full of pictures and videos. But I really haven't had time for that. After leaving Lugano an emotional wreck (a lot of good people graduating) I spent about 11 hours in Dusseldorf International waiting for my next flight, and finally reached the Reykjavik City Hostel at about Midnight. Checked in with the Dad, and here I am, writing about Day One.
It's 1 a.m. and the sky still has a dark blue hue to it. It has yet to get to the point of darkness where it actually feels like night. This is kind of random, but it's also quite fascinating.
I start work tomorrow at 1 p.m. and have no idea what to expect, but this whole experience should be one of growth. I get the feeling I'll come out of it at least slightly changed. Hopefully for the better.

Anyway, this will probably be the least exciting of the entries. The things that make it worth it: Pictures, Videos, restaurant/concert/exhibition reviews (?) will hopefully be up soon! Don't be disheartened by my introspective lamenting!
